Have you ever really thought about what it would feel like to be a boy? How would you dress? How would you move? How would you interact with other men, women, people?
For your first challenge, I dare you to explore just that. Create a photo essay that highlights all of the ways in which you envision a man living in this world. You must produce at least ten images that reflect a diverse range of your ideas and experiences. By the end of this challenge, you should also write a brief entry beginning with the phrase, “If I were a boy…”
In the spirit of celebrating Pride, you also have to host a public exhibition of your photography for this project, featuring the aforementioned final written entry. Consider that entry as your exhibition summary, a press release, an invitation, whatever you like. Any day, any time, any venue, but you have to share.
Your work is due June 30 and, remember, have fun! Ready, Set, Go.
